A sudden increase in taxes on the area had the populace blaming the princess for their miseries, but Julie knew the truth. Amelie wasnโt responsible, but someone had convinced the people of Greenville she was, forged decrees in her name, and Julie would have to find out who and stop them. Maybe recover the stolen taxes at the same time.
Her task only became harder when she started suspecting the local baron was in on it, but with Miriam at her side she was confident they wouldnโt have many difficulties.
