Leighton Hazlehurst goes behind the scenes to chronicle events in his family's everyday life in a town in northwest India during the 1960s. Leighton Hazlehurst received his PhD in Cultural Anthropology from The University of California at Berkeley. He is the author of several scholarly works on India and a former Associate Professor of Anthropology at Cornell University. He and his wife Pat live in the Pacific Northwest where they are currently studying Spanish and traveling in Mexico during the winter months.
