Rita Longknife has had enough of sitting home and watching General Ray Longknife gallivant around the universe. No sooner does she deliver little Al Nuu Longknife than ships start disappearing out on the rim of human space. Is it pirates, or is there something more sinister. Rita swappes her Attack Transport rank of pilot for a full commission as a Wardhaven Navy captain. She wrestled up enough money to recommission a heavy cruiser.
