## Abstract ## BACKGROUND: Peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) are increasingly used in hospitalized patients. The benefit can be offset by complications such as upper extremity deep vein thrombosis (UEDVT). ## METHODS: Retrospective study of patients who received a PICC while hospita
