Patients cured of a malignant germ-cell tumor are at a significantly increased relative risk (RR, 1.3-2.1) of developing a new malignancy, the most frequent second cancer being a new germ-cell cancer. The exact role of modern treatment of germ-cell malignancies as an etiological factor of a subseque
