✦ Synopsis
This study presents the key parameters that influence the rheological behavior of emulsions and suspensions subjected to steady shear flow. Emulsions and suspensions with nearly monomodal particle or droplet distributions were experimentally investigated to determine their material behavior in steady shear flow. A comparison of the results revealed that, under special conditions, the emulsions and suspensions subjected to steady shear flow exhibit identical rheological material behavior.
