## Abstract Raman studies are reported of conformational change in an alkyl polyoxyethylene non‐ionic surfactant associated with coordination to alkali and alkaline earth metal cations. This surfactant has a simpler mix of conformers (with TTT relatively unimportant) compared with non‐ionic surfact
