✦ Synopsis

capillary rheometer is used to measure the rheological properties of green carbon mixes consisting of petroleum coke and carbon black as filler and pitch tar as binder. It has been shown that in the low shear rate range (0.3 to 2.0 set-I), the carbon mixes behave as Bingham body with yield stress of 6 x lo5 dyn/cm2 and plastic viscosity of 2 X lo6 poise.
