โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

Remember the 1970s? We had petroleum shortages and price increases back then, too. But many companies also had conducted energy auditsโ€”to see where they could reduce energy usage. Accountants contributed their skills in auditing and cost management to make the process even more successful.

In many ways, we're in a similar situation today. But energy audits aren't as popularโ€”even though recent advances in cost management could make energy audits even more useful.

The author thinks it's time to revive energy auditsโ€”using today's cost management techniques. And he shows how to do it. ยฉ 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc..
