Abstract
Ultrasound studies of dorsalis pedis artery in 400 feet showed the artery to be absent in 2.25%, i.e., much less frequently than it was commonly claimed. Clearer understanding of this variation and its frequency may facilitate the diagnosis of peripheral circulatory disease.
