CONCLUSION

The amount of improvement at 2 GHz is significant with 10 dB reduction for the first sidelobe which is the most predominant spectral regrowth. This reduction in the spectral regrowth and the absence of significant effects from the second harmonic verify that the proposed method is correct. The method is suitable for compensating AM᎐AM distortion in a BJT, with the added benefit of a very compact circuit when used without second-harmonic impedance control.
