✦ Synopsis

Decay of the CO fluorescence obtained under narrow-band excitation of "essentially singlet" and "essentially tipIet" rotationai Ievels resulting from the A ' II@ = 0)-e 3Z-(u = I) perturbation have been studied as a function of added rare gas pressure. Anomalous decay curves are discussed in terms of reversible collisioknduced singlet-triplet transitions
