โฆ Synopsis
As of 1st January 2011, Professor V. Lakshmikantham retired from his role as Editor-in-Chief of Nonlinear Analysis: Hybrid Systems. During his Editorship the journal has grown and its readership and influence in the community has increased steadily.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Professor Lakshmikantham for his expertise and diligence and convey the best of wishes for his future from his colleagues on the journal, both from the members of the Editorial Board, and from all the staff at Elsevier. I would also like to announce, to coincide with his retirement, that Professor Lakshmikantham will become Founding and Honorary Editor, a position that properly befits his immense contribution to the journal.
Though I am sorry to see Professor Lakshmikantham go, I am delighted that Janan Zaytoon will step in as new Editor-in-Chief and Alessandro Giua as Main Editor of Nonlinear Analysis: Hybrid Systems and shall be responsible for its contents, as of Volume 5.
