Seventeen sportive lemurs (Lepilemur ruficaudatus) were captured in a dry, deciduous forest in western Madagascar, and the resting metabolic rates were measured. According to the data, resting metabolic rates of Lepilemur ruficaudatus are among the lowest of mammalian folivores recorded SO far.
