✦ Synopsis
The core-excited negative ion resonances in H,O, first observed by Senche and Schulz, have been identified in both the (O-O) and (1-O) bands of the OH(A*Z -+ X *II) emission following near-threshold electron impact. These observations allow limits to be placed on the energy of the predissociating state.
