Abstract
In agreement with previous calculations by the authors, three definite resonances in the elastic electronβSF~6~ molecule scattering in the energy range 5β40 eV have been obtained with a multiple scattering method, elaborated originally for molecular bound states and modified here for scattering states. Results with various moreβreliable oneβelectron potentials have been compared with previous calculations and available experimental data.

High resolution relative integral cross sections were measured for the interactions of low-velocity H atoms with CF6 and SF+ In each system two maxima were resolved, and the lower peak occurs at relative velocities of about 450-500 m/s The shapes of the "spectra" are similar to those observed for H-
