Abstract
The density distributions of the current carriers and their velocities in a bounded semiconductor plasma are found on the basis of the twoβcomponent MHD. The semiconductor plasma is placed between two metal electrodes. The averaged forces of Miller's type, which act on the current carriers, are found. The resonance frequencies are found at which the averaged forces increase and the densities have a modulation maximum. The possibility of experimental observation of βhole soundββtype resonances is discussed.

## Abstract We consider a collisionless plasma, which consists of electrons and positively charged ions and is confined to a bounded domain in β^3^. The distribution functions of the particles are assumed to satisfy specular reflections on the boundary of the domain and the boundary is assumed to b
