In the single-mode regime, the electromagnetic properties of a finite-periodic set of identical gratings of perfectly electric conducting rectangular bars are in¨estigated. Simple analytical relations between the roots of the Chebyshe¨polynomials of the second kind and a discrete set of the geometric and field parameters are obtained that pro¨ide a total transmission.
