β¦ Synopsis
Candelabra quadruple systems play an important role in the construction of Steiner 3-designs. In this article, we consider resolvable candelabra quadruple systems with three groups and show that the necessary conditions on the existence of RCQS(g 3 : s) when g is even are also sufficient.

## Abstract A resolvable modified group divisible design (RMGDD) is an MGDD whose blocks can be partitioned into parallel classes. In this article, we investigate the existence of RMGDDs with block size three and show that the necessary conditions are also sufficient with two exceptions. Β© 2005 Wil
Generalized Steiner Systems, GS(2,3, n, g), are equivalent to maximum constant weight codes over an alphabet of size g + 1 with distance 3 and weight 3 in which each codeword has length n. We construct Generalized Steiner Triple Systems, GS(2, 3, n, g), when g β‘ 3(mod 6).
