โฆ Synopsis
A survey of research needs in the US agricultural equipment industry was conducted during the latter part of 1983. The purpose of the survey was to determine what information gaps existed in the human factors data base as far as agricultural engineers were concerned and to attempt to stimulate research in those areas where gaps were found to exist. Survey results indicate that answers to some problems can be found in existing human factors references but that survey respondents are not aware of where they can find them. Other survey results point out some interesting problems, possibly unique to agriculture, that need research inputs.
