Biosteres longicaudatus Ashmead (Hymenoptera: Bracon dae) is a solitary endoparasite of Anastrepha suspensa larvae (Diptera: Tephritidae), which live in fruit tissue. Larvae make andible noises within macerated fruit or larval medium in which they are reared. Parasite females readily located normal,
