Transcatheter embolization of coronary artery fistulae has become the therapy of choice for this uncommon lesion. We report a case in which transcatheter embolization was performed in a nine-year-old boy with a large fistula originating from the proximal portion of the left anterior descending arter

โฆ Synopsis
An accessory coronary artery originating from the pulmonary trunk was discovered in a gross anatomy dissection specimen during the autumn quarter of 1959. This is apparently a rare anomaly as only a single case with some similarity can be found in the literature.
Although many cases in which a replacing left coronary artery arises from the pulmonary trunk have been reported (Bland et al., '33; Gasul and Loeffler, '49; Kittle et al., '55; and George and Knowlan, '59), only two instances of an accessory coronary artery have been recorded. Of these two, both reported by Brooks (1885), only one resembles the present case.
