## Abstract ## Background Primary intraosseous salivary‐type adenocarcinomas are rare neoplasms of uncertain histogenesis. The prevailing theories suggest origin from heterotopic salivary glands, odontogenic rests, or cystic epithelium. ## Methods A case of central adenoid cystic carcinoma is re
