1H 2002 (DKR 2508(DKR M in 1H 2001)). Net profit amounted to DKR 270 M, representing an increase of 3% for 1H 2002. During 1H 2002, volumes, prices, and product mix in the market increased sales by 10%, although lower exchange rates reduced sales by 2%. Sales of technical enzymes, etc rose by 5%; and those of detergent enzymes fell by 6% for 1H 2002. During 1H 2002, the company introduced three new detergent enzymes: Lipex, an effective new lipase for removing fat stains, and Savinase Ultra and Termamyl Ultra 300 L, a new protease and amylase respectively, both with increased stability and storage for use in liquid detergents. Sales of other technical enzymes, etc rose by 27%.
