Abstract
The electronic structure of the b.c.c. heavy rare‐earth sesquioxides is analyzed through the singlesite solutions within the renormalized atom model (RAM) and using the relativistic version. The Coulomb correlation energy is calculated in order to determine the unoccupied 4f levels.
