## Abstract A series of functional copolymer hydrogels composed of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and 2‐acrylamido‐2‐methyl propane sulfonic acid (AMPS) were synthesized using γ‐radiations‐induced copolymerization and crosslinking. Preparation conditions were optimized, and the swelling characterist
