Fast pyrolysis of biomass is a promising process for the preparation of bio-oil dedicated to energy production. Inorganic species originally present in biomass are known to induce problems such as bio-oil instability or deposits and fouling. However the mechanisms of inorganic species release during

Rice husk was fast pyrolysed at temperatures between 420 8C and 540 8C in a fluidized bed, and the main product of bio-oil is obtained. The experimental result shows that the highest bio-oil yield of 56 wt% was obtained at 465 8C for rice husk. Chemical composition of bio-oil acquired was analyzed b
