A second ReliOn fuel cell backup power system installed at a telecommunications site has recently survived hurricane conditions, providing electric power for 22 hours when the primary power supply was knocked out during the most extreme conditions of Hurricane Frances.
The company's high-reliability, 1 kWe PEM fuel cell power system is installed at a telecoms site which was in the central path of the storm.
