✦ Synopsis
High-voltage and large-capacitance plastic film capacitors are developed for use as a power supply of space stations.
The specifications for filter circuit use are 250 V and 0.01 mF to 68 mF and for the resonance circuit, 400 V and 0.01 mF to 0.22 mF. The parts for space station use must be of very high reliability and high quality for the special environments of space compared with common commercial uses. In this paper, the performances of the developed capacitors are tested and evaluated, under thermal, mechanical, and radio active stresses, and the results show the developed ones clearly satisfy the required specifications.
