✦ Synopsis

The process of relaxation to the quasistationary mode of nucleation is being treated by reducing the Fokker-Planck equation to the Schriidinger type in the effective potential. For the quadratic thermodynamic potential, a= @(g,) -(g-gC)2/A2, an exact solution is obtained. The result coincides with our previous work, where a solution of the Fokker-Plan& equation was obtained.
