✦ Synopsis

In the temperature range of I0 to 35 "C the relationships of the oxygen consumption arid nitrogen cxcretion rates to temprrnture in Brachionus calyciflorus PALLAS can be described by an exponential function where Qlo is equal to 2.46 or 2.18, respectively. Temperature adaptation within the mnge studied resulted in stabilisation of relative protein metabolism which accounted for nearly 50 pcr cent of the total metabolic loss.
