✦ Synopsis
The variation, with temperature, of the dynamic mechanical properties (at 5 Hz) of bitumen-SBS mixes has been established. Typical features of the storage modulus, the loss modulus, and the loss angle variations with temperature could be attributed to the different phases that compose the mix. Finally, relationships between viscoelastic measurements and morphological characteristics (number of phases, phase composition, and phase content in the blend) have been proposed.
