In this work a bridge is built between a neural model studied in a series of papers (cf. O~uzt6reli 1979; O~uzt6reli et al. 1987) and certain experimental laws of psychophysics and neurophysiology (Hartline 1942;Fechner 1860;Stevens 1961).
