Ornithine decarboxylase (ODC) activity and polyamine (putrescine, spermidine, spermine) concentrations were measured in parallel in enterocyte-like Caco-2 cells maintained under various culture conditions. ODC activity was maximal at the beginning of the exponential growth phase, decreasing dramatic
