## Abstract The microstructure and magnetic properties of L1~0~ ordered Fe~55~Pt~45~ and (Fe~55~Pt~45~)~1–__x__~–(Al~2~O~3~)__~x~__ thin films fabricated by in situ ordering process were studied. For Fe~55~Pt~45~ thin films, preheating substrate above 250 °C induces a transformation from a disorder
