Citric acid production using immobilised Aspergillus niger was studied. For the immobilisation, Viscopearl (porous cellulose beads) was used as the carrier. The immobilised ratio of the biomass to the carrier was controlled by changing the preculture periods. It signiÐcantly a †ected the production
