✦ Synopsis
from partially fluorinated compounds by distillation at 12 torr. [(NSOCI),(NSOF)] and [(NSOCI)(NSOF),] are isolated by further distillation in a spinning band column. The cis-trans isomers of [NSOF], were separated gaschromatographically and their physical properties were determined. These were in complete agreement with those reported in the literature13! The colorless compounds [(NSOCI), (NSOF)], b. p. 105 to l10°C/20 torr, and [(NSOCI)(NSOF),], b. p. 168 to 175 "C/760 torr, each occur in three isomeric forms, which are completely separable by analytical gaschromatography and which can be characterized by the 19F-NMR spectrum.
