## Abstract The action of 5‐hydroxytryptamine (5HT) on nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) channels was investigated in mouse myotubes, human cloned TE671/RD cells, and __Xenopus laevis__ oocytes. The decay of the ACh‐activated whole‐cell currents was reversibly accelerated in the presence of
