✦ Synopsis

ln this paper, we present a regularization for semiexplicit index-I diiferential-algebraic equations with rank-deficient or singular constraints. We consider those problems for which the solution is well defined through the singularity. We give convergence results for the regularization applied to linear DAEs, and present some numerical experiments which illustrate its effectiveness.
