โฆ Synopsis
An analysis of regularities m the van der Waals forces has been performed for over fifty systems. Correlauons are found betueen features of the interactIon. namely the well depth and tts IwzatIon, and atomic propertles such as the polartzabihty. These correlanons can be extended to the spherical part of the mteracrlon of amsotroplc systems and can be used to esttmatc potennal parameters for spaxs that are difficult to study experimentally
