Preparation of Tributylstannylmanganate and Its Addition to Propargylic Alcohols with High Regio-and Stereoselectivities. -Reaction of 4 equiv. MeLi with MnCl 2 generates Me 4 MnLi 2 which adds to R 3 Sn-SnR 3 to give a solution of stannylmanganates in almost quantitative yield. These reagents [cf.
