## Abstract We highlight the selfโ€similar features of the frequencyโ€dependent (absolute) reflection coefficient of a dielectric Cantor prefractal obtained by applying the wellโ€known Cantorโ€set construction to the optical (rather than physical) layer lengths. The referred properties are first obtain
