โœฆ Synopsis

When monitoring stable priority pollutants in euents of receiving waters, it is desirable to have a sampling method which reduces analytical work while allowing judgements of compliances to be made. A new method, called reยฎned composite sampling (RCS henceforth), is introduced. Via a simulation study, we ยฎnd that in comparison to daily sampling, RCS does achieve the above goals. Furthermore, RCS performs better than composite sampling in the sense that the combination of the relative eectiveness and the relative eciency is higher.
