✦ Synopsis

Nerve conduction data are presented as mean 6 standard deviation (range). NA, not applicable. *Data expressed in microvolts (lV) for sensory nerves and millivolts (mV) for motor nerves. † In addition to the 2 subjects for whom no nerve conduction studies were recordable in the peroneal nerve, 6 other subjects had unrecorable F-min, F-max, and F-range responses in the peroneal nerve. ‑ In addition to the 1 subject for whom no nerve conduction studies were recordable in the tibial nerve, 1 other subject had unrecordable conduction velocity, F-max, and F-range responses in the tibial nerve.

## Abstract Introduction: The aim of this study was to generate reference data for ulnar nerve short segment conduction studies (SSCSs) at 2‐cm intervals. Methods: Ulnar nerve SSCS data were collected from dominant and non‐dominant arms of 200 healthy volunteers. The effects of age, gender, weight,

Nine patients at risk for critical illness polyneuropathy (CIP) were included in a prospective study. We performed nerve conduction studies, electromyography, and a stimulation single-fiber electromyography (SFEMG). Five of 9 patients were diagnosed as CIP because they developed abnormal spontaneous
