The process of peer review is the most important way of establishing and maintaining high standards in a scientific publication. Therefore, the editorial policy of Bioelectromagnetics requires that each manuscript be reviewed by a niininiuni of two referees chosen for their demonstrated conipetence in the subject area of the manuscript. Considerable time and much thought are provided by these experts and the Editorial Board gratefully acknowledges their very valuable contribution t o the Journal.
