โฆ Synopsis
Interruptions in the regular lattice of a phased array antenna can lead to elevated sidelobe levels in the resulting antenna pattern. A method for reducing the sidelobe level in such an array is presented, based on the use of a genetic algorithm that modifies the element weights in the array. Results are presented for both scanned and unscanned arrays. V
