Rookie Special Space Service Officer Jethro is attached to the Space Marines on an Earth Mining Vessel in the Asteroid Belt when he gets a message from a friend saying Mars is being invaded by aliens.

The EMV lands in the middle of a war zone and very soon Jethro's boss is dead and the EMV has vanished.

Can Jethro and his team of Space Marines get evidence of the alien invasion back to Earth in time for them to prepare a defence against alien invasion?

Earth has recently completed a long and brutal war against the colonies on Mars that ended in a bitter stalemate so will anybody on Earth believe Jethro?
