Abstract
Only 5 cases of recurrent spontaneous bladder rupture have been reported in the literature. The present report is of a patient who developed a spontaneous rupture on two occasions within 5 years. The first rupture was treated without bladder suture. A pelvic fracture 12 months before the first episode is considered to be a probable aetiological factor.
