✦ Synopsis

In this paper, asymptotic pseudo-orbits and the asymptotic pseudo-orbit tracing property are considered for continuous maps from a compact metric space into itself. We investigate transitive properties and recurrent properties for a map with the asymptotic pseudo-orbit tracing property. In particular, a condition for which a homeomorphism is a non-wandering homeomorphism is obtained.
