The present work deals with evaluation of corrosion behaviour of electrodeposited nanocrystalline Ni-W and Ni-Fe-W alloys. Corrosion behaviour of the coatings deposited on steel substrates was studied using polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy techniques in 3.5% NaCl solution whil

## Abstract Face‐centred cubic (fcc) alloys such as austenitic stainless steel, Ni base alloys and Co base alloys are important materials with a high corrosion resistance. Nitrogen insertion by PIII into all these alloys at moderate temperatures leads to the formation of an expanded austenite struc
